Dr. Michael Chang

Practicing orthopedic surgeon currently working in Valdoltra Orthopedic Hospital, Slovenia.

Specialized in hip and knee arthroplasty, joint revision procedures, hip and knee arthroscopy.

At the beginning of his career trained in general and trauma surgery, later finished orthopedic surgery residency in 2007. Earned his PhD in 2018 at the University of Ljubljana with research on influence of local anesthetics on knee joint cartilage.

Member of Slovenian Orthopedic Association and International Hip Preservation Society (ISHA).

Publishes his research work in international scientific journals, presents lectures at congress events and educates young doctors - residents and fellows.

His free time activities include sailing, diving, mountain biking and running.
